Interns will work side by side with the rest of the staff of the host company and gain an understanding of how to organize an event and have a comprehensive toolkit to use in the future. The intern will work together with the staff in the planning process, going step by step through the different elements, and along the way creating an effective timeline and they will gain confidence in the practical aspects of event management and know what to do when there are problems.

Do not forget that your creativity plays an important role in this kind of internship.

The program takes place in Quito

Interns work Monday to Friday from about 08:00 to 17:00 though work can sometimes take them to different location even on weekends.

Though Spanish level and experience and/or education within the field are important personality is also something that judges what they will get out of their experience.

An open person that shows interest and initiative will have a good experience. Initiative is important as the staff often takes this as a sign of interest so they will most lightly get into their tasks faster.

It takes normally about a week to get into work and for some it even takes up to two weeks before they start to understand their tasks and how things work.
