Who are we?
Patricia Fernandez, born in 1970 in Santo Domingo, is an Ecuadorian
who always has loved her country,the amazing nature and its culture. She has lived most of her life in Quito and has worked as a teacher and as a guide in the Amazon jungle for several years before deciding that she wanted to do more for her country and at the same time show people another side of her country.
Her biggest passion is the nature in Ecuador, the mountains, the Amazon jungle all its culture and life.
Hakan Karlsson, born in 1974 and raised in a Swedish working class family. He has always loved to work with his hands and travel to see different countries and cultures. His traveling brought him to Ecuador, this esmerald of countries the first time to see the Galapagos Islands and 3 weeks of backpacking wherever the nose pointed. After meeting Patricia during that trip he ended up selling everything he owned back home to move here for life.
His biggest interests in life are traveling, history, culture, nature, photography
but most of all a mix of them together.
How to contact us
There are several ways to get in contact with us. The best and easiest way is through mails or messages but below
you find other options like phone through Skype or the nice old fashion way with hand written letters. Between us we speak, read and write Spanish, English, German, French and Swedish.
For our partner organizations the fastest way is to our cellphones during daytime or to the office
in the morning, during lunch or at night. The numbers you have are as you know also the emergency numbers so please make sure that
the participants have them at all tiles during their stay in Ecuador.
